Our Teachers
All of the teachers at Visalia Montessori School hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and are certified or seeking Montessori certification for the age that they teach. Montessori teacher training includes child development, educational philosophy, curriculum, and classroom management. Montessori teachers make a huge commitment of both time and money to become trained in Montessori education.

Nina Clancy
Educated. Experienced. Passionate.
Founder and Owner
Nina Clancy has been a Visalia business owner and school administrator for over 30 years. She is co-owner of Greenhouse Montessori School and owner of a place to grow Montessori. Nina is a certified Montessori teacher for children ages 3-6 and also serves as a teacher trainer. Nina currently serves as a Director and Head Teacher at Greenhouse Montessori and is an active Rotarian. Her most recent accolade includes being voted as the Visalia Chamber of Commerce 2013 Woman of the Year.
